Please find attached a flyer informing you who your clubs welfare officers are. We have a head welfare officer and other officers with responsibility for certain age groups who will be visiting teams over the coming weeks.

Are you worried about something, yourself or someone in the club? Do you want to talk to someone that can help? Then contact one of your club welfare officers in confidence.

Your club welfare officer can offer you help, advice and support on a wide ranges of matters and are friendly and approachable and really can help.

If the matter is urgent and you cannot contact the club or County FA Designated Safeguarding Officer Richard Hughes, Tel 0191 3872929, email Richard.hughes@durhamfa.com,
you can call the FA NSPCC 24 hour helpline on 0808 800 5000.
If it is an emergency because a child or children are at immediate risk, contact the Police or Children’s Social Care.
