Signings are sometimes like buses... you wait all day and three come along at once!

Washington are delighted to welcome attacking duo Jack Moore and George Pinder, as well as strong centre back, Adam Brown.

Washington United's manager, Cameron Thompson, has shared his delight at signing these promising players:

"These signings tick every single box. They will fit in very well with the rest of the squad hope they hit the ground running.

"We’ve created a real criteria of player that is going to be successful at this club.

“ Inside that criteria is players who have a real dedication, a fight in them and then quality to play at higher levels."

Thompson was keen to express his fondness of the players and the positive impacts they will have on the club:

"These lads have played at very high levels and have what it takes to boost the side.

"We are on a good run of performance at the moment and these lads will only help that."

Assistant manager, Kallum Warne, was particularly impressed by the signing of attacker Jack Moore.

Warne said: "Myself and Cameron have known Jack for a long time and have always kept an eye on him.

"His understanding of the game and quality on the ball will help us throughout the year.

"We can't wait for him to get among it with the lads."

Washington will face Coxhoe Athletic this Wednesday at home.

Thompson let us inside a match-day secret as he informed us about the possibility of any of these players playing midweek:

"We have a few lads missing Wednesday due to work commitments and a few Injuries - so it’s a high possibility that they could be involved.

"We will be monitoring the situation tomorrow at training and go from there."
