Washington United Football Club are delighted to confirm that the first team will be playing at Nissan Sports & Leisure Complex for the 2020/21 season in the Wearside League.

The club would like to thank, Gary Colin at Nissan, Mick Trainer and Andy Taylor for all their hard work and securing the deal.

Nissans 1,000 capacity ground will be home for the first team as well a lucrative deal with the club.

First Team Manager, Cameron Thompson had this to say:

“This has been in the pipeline for months and we’ve been so excited to get it over the line.

"The clubs aim was to bring Saturday football back to the area of Washington and we’ve now achieved that.

"As a club we’ve looked to unite Washington. This is a massive piece in the jigsaw. We can’t wait to get going”
