Fine team display over the newly crowned champions
U14 blues playing on the main pitch at Nissan for the first time , and whole squad of 17 turned up for the occasion . The food put on by Gary and the team at Nissan rated even nicer after the game .
We now head into our last two league games with promotion still a possibly with us either finishing runners up or third in the league
Goals from captain Adam Rodgers - lovely chip over the keeper in the first 15 mins
2nd goal from new signing Lewis Waggot - counter attacking football with Lewis playing left wing back , latched onto a long ball and slotted into the bottom corner to make it 2-0
Washington goal keeper and eventual MOTM Kalib McConville make some outstanding saves to keep us in it and made sure we went into the break 2-0 up
Second half started how it the first finished , Washington creating more chances with everyone wanting to score on the quality playing pitch at Nissan ,
With 10 mins left to play Charlie Armstrong popped up from the wing back position to score a worldie of a goal into the top corner . The crowd of well over 60 people all appreciated the quality of the goal .
Great team performance to see the game out .
Great experience for all 17 lads to play on the main pitch and have a feel of it .
Coaches Nathan Moon and Owen Brack shared the handshakes with the Swallwell management as the teams also shared handshakes and wished each other good luck .
