Washington United u13's Blacks kicked off the new season with a 2-2 draw against Fishburn.

A superb free-kick from Sam into the top corner first half gave us a 1-0 lead at half time. Fishburn came back into the game and equalised before taking the lead with two quick goals. However, the team never gave up and started to put some pressure on towards the end of the game, forcing several corners and free-kicks. Finally one paid off when Sam whipped in a cross, flicked on by Taylor onto Ollie who controlled, beat his man and buried it into the bottom corner.

Man of the match was rightly shared between Taylor and Byron!

Chances for both teams towards the end in a really good game and start to the season!
